I’ve been searching for a pristine C3 Corvette for quite some time. I found one on the website at Gateway Nashville and after inquiry, Bob Pierce called me and walked me through the buying process and negotiation. It was a great experience and he even arranged to have the Vette transported 450 miles to my home!! But it doesn’t stop there, as Cody Jones jumped in to help with the follow up/ paperwork. Service after the sale…. I was missing a door key and Cody followed up with the previous owner and found another set that included the door key. GreatJob… happy customer.
I just wanted to thank Gateway Classic Cars for your work on selling our 1977 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.
I realized some of the benefits of putting it on consignment with Gateway when we first came to meet with you and saw your showroom and met the staff. However, not until after we consigned the automobile with you and not only did you help us in what it needed to make it more appealing to that limited market of who would be looking at buying an older Rolls, but you really were great in taking care of us through out the 'process' did I realize ALL of the benefits of having it in Gateway's hands.
With the economy what it is today, and the thought of trying to sell something like this on our own, well, I wouldn't want to think about what could have happened with people that are less than honorable looking to take advantage of others that maybe too trusting or just naive to what could happen in going thru the process. We didn't have to worry about if we could trust the person interested in buying it, especially if it would have limited us to the market right here in our area only.
And even then, I would have had to trust that they could drive an automobile that was right side drive without doing any damage during the 'interested' stage. But, then to think about if we had to trust someone thousands of miles away that would be offering to buy it and trying to make the arrangements on transporting it to them and hoping that their payment for the automobile was good.
Again, in today's world, unfortunately, there are less than scrupulous people that would have taken full advantage of us and in consigning the automobile with Gateway, we never had to worry about any of the obvious things that could possibly happen but those things alot of people may not realize could take place.
So, again, I want to thank you for taking not only the time and patience to work with us on selling what I termed 'the old girl'..but making it a process that was very trusting and enjoyable.
We know that in today's market and having a very specialized item, it was not going to be an easy or fast sale. However, I would recommend that anyone thinking about consigning their automobile instead of selling it on their own, contact Gateway Classic Cars.

I flew in to Houston from Washington state to see my car at gateway after the inspection was completed. I met both Jeff and Dominic who run sales there. They made the purchase go so smoothly for me! My 1930 A sedan was even more than I expected from the written inspection. Jeff also helped me with getting a carrier for my car back to Gig Harbor, WA. While walking their showroom, an feeling like a kid in a candy store, they had all my paper work ready for my signing. I am such a connoisseur of the Lincoln Continental Mark III that upon seeing stock #2911 on Gateway Classic's website, I consummated a purchase via wire transfer of funds the very next day (without even waiting for a test drive). I booked a one-way flight there three days later, and admired the car for about 45 minutes in person while Charley prepared my paperwork, and the car, for the long drive from East St. Louis back to Washington, DC., my faith and trust in a car that performed even better than it looks may have surprised some, but not me. I would like to express my experience in buying my first car from Sal at Gateway. I bought a Nice ElCamino and the very evening that I brought it home I had the trans. pump go out and it was several months before I could get it repaired, but Sal was good to his word he said he would work with me and when it was done He was there for me.
I have been very satisfied for that car, Mercury Marquis. Last week we had a Hot Wheels Show here in Finland and we got the 1st prize in Classic Car serie. The car is GREAT!!!! The car is 100% original like Sal said! I dont used an appraiser or inspector because I had a lot of pictures about this car and that was enough for me. The service was great. Everything was like we were agreed. Now I'll wait for the next car from Gateway Classic Car. I want something special and Sal is going to find it? Yes, I can say that everything was better than welldone! In my opinion You can trust for Gateway Classic Car Company!!!

I have sold 4 cars here and they are very easy to work with and I never had an issue. Scott, Devin, Jesse are amazing to work with and honest. If you go in with a reasonable figure on a desirable car, it will sell fast. They also offer a detailing service for cars being sold and they detail guy is great. On top of that they host a car show every month which is nice to check out the inventory of cars they have along with other peoples rides.
