This 1995 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham offers full-size American luxury with V-8 power in a package that bridges the gap between modern functionality and reliability with all the traditional features that made such cars so desirable over the years. Powered by a fuel-injected 350 CID LT1 V8, which is backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission, the Fleetwood packed the same powertrain as the Corvette, albeit "toned down" a bit, which gives the big Caddy plenty of smooth power for cruising the interstates. Based on the full-framed B-body chassis of its GM stablemates, the Cadillac Fleetwood used a unique chassis known as the D-body. With the wheelbase stretched 5.5 inches to 121.5 inches to support the all-new body that debuted in 1993, the Fleetwood had the distinction of being one of the longest passenger sedans ever made in the U.S. at 225 inches overall. Effortless steering provided by the power-assisted recirculating-ball steering system, large anti-lock disc and drum brakes, and traction control allowed for a seamless and safe ride. From its traditional, chromed upright grille topped with the wreath and crest hood ornament, this large Cadillac's conservative lines terminate in vertical taillamps that offer an additional nod to the company's heritage: there is no mistaking this 1995 Fleetwood Brougham for anything other than a Cadillac!
