Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1974 Chevrolet Corvette in the Milwaukee Showroom. Ever since the model debut in 1953 the Corvette has been regarded as the standard of high end American made sports car created to obliterate all competition in it’s class.

The C3 Platform arrived in 1968 sharing a frame and chassis with the previous C2 but now offered improved aerodynamics and better handling with less body roll. This body style flaunted aggressive lines that attracted a great audience that attributed to a 14 year run up to 1982 before having a manufacturing gap in 1983 where no Corvettes were made until 1984 with the debut of the C4 body style.

This beauty features a extremely glossy exterior that shows off the custom metallic flake in red and green accenting the black cherry paint. Worth noting that the paint almost always looks wet due to the glossy finish on the outside. When paired with a tan leather interior the contrast between inside and out helps support the claim that this Vette’ is one of a kind.

Under the hood lies a 350 cubic inch L48 V8 that originally came with a healthy 270 horsepower but this one has been enhanced with an aftermarket camshaft and long tube headers giving this powertrain a little extra “umph” when taking in the exhilarating experience of putting the pedal down and rowing through the gears of a 4-speed manual transmission. This is what it means to drive a Corvette.

The Corvette features AM/FM radio, convertible top with optional hard top that has been beautifully paint matched to the rest of the car, radial tires, leather interior, hub caps, and seatbelts.

The time is now to buy something truly unique that is most likely to turn heads as it rolls through the streets or steals the show at a local car meet.
