Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1951 Ford Custom Deluxe for sale. This combination of classic Hot Rod looks, and modern drivetrain combine to make a fine ride. This beautiful car is powered by a 1999 Corvette LS1 V8. The transmission is a 4L60E, the 4L60E is the electronically commanded evolution of the Turbo-Hydramatic 700R4. Exhaust is Flowmaster. This Custom Car is painted Toyota Brown with gold flakes. The exterior look is highlighted by fender skirts, shaved door handles, with remote door openers and trunk control. Wheels are Detroit Steel 20" with Diamond Back radial White Walls. It Looks Great. The custom 1957 Fairlane interior is done in Natural like baseball glove colored leather, with contrasting piping that has been rolled and pleated. Door panels and even the headliner match in both color and design. Just an extra touch that you would expect on a highline build. The dash is clean with all the gauges clustered around the Mobsteel steering wheel. This 1951 Ford has been chopped. And it also has rear fender skirts. It has a Mustang II front end and an Accuair E level air ride system with 2 Compressors. The sound system was done by Al and Eds of vista Calif. It is a Kenwood head unit; it is mounted low in a custom console that is simple and adds cupholders. The trunk is set for show with the fuel cell, battery and the sub all set inside the small and large luggage and the hat box. Battery, wheel bearings and the brakes have all been replaced in 2020.To view this 1951 Ford Custom Deluxe in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
