Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1999 Mercedes-Benz S500 Grand Edition that was originally delivered in North Carolina and relocated to Arizona shortly, thereafter, remaining there through 2018. The car then came to New Jersey. 600 Grand Edition cars were built to commemorate the end of W140 production and were equipped with Premium Parchment leather, black Art Line wood trim, 18? AMG Monoblock wheels, a wood and leather-rimmed steering wheel, and floor mats carrying the Grand Edition logo. rear sunshades, illuminated door sills, and more. This example was recently serviced with an oil and filter change and new air filters. The exterior is finished in Obsidian Black (197), including the factory color-matched lower body cladding. Grand Edition cars were fitted with 18x8.5? AMG Monoblock wheels, and Yokohama Y580 tires measuring 245/45. The car is equipped with self-leveling rear suspension and speed-sensitive power steering. Other equipment includes power side and rear window sunshades, a CD changer, and a car phone installed in the center arm rest. The seller notes that the left rear sunshade occasionally takes several tries to retract. The car retains a factory Bose beta stereo. 95k miles are shown on the digital odometer. The 5.0-liter M119 V8 was rated at 315 horsepower with 347 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
