The current owner purchased this CJ-5 3 years ago with eyes out for a nice restoration project. This Jeep has been well taken care of and loved since it was new. Standard equipment in the 1982 CJ-5 was an inline 4-cylinder, but this owner opted for a larger and more powerful 350CI crate motor to add to the experience. The drive train in this CJ-5 was completely gone through, with 304 miles driven since it's high-end restored build out. Possessing better build quality than original equipment from 1983, the next owner of this CJ-5 will stand out in the crowd! As you walk up to this Jeep, the overall condition will really jump out at you. The body is show quality and has not been beaten up off roading like many other Jeeps have been in the same era. Laid on top of the body is beautiful yellow paint that, contrasted with the aftermarket black wheels, gives it a bit of a Hot Wheels toy feel! A freshly redone interior keeps the seat protected and looking great. Other options include, LED headlamps, power steering, power brakes, back up camera and electronic e-brake! As you jump inside and fire it up, the engine comes to life and purrs smoothly. As you start to drive around in, you will get the feeling that you are driving more of a UTV or a toy of some sort instead of an actual car! The short wheel base makes it very nimble and can get to places that most other vehicles simply are unable to go. This classic CJ-5 is about as nice as they get and needs nothing to start having some fun and making memories.
