The Track Package features Fords magnetorheological “MagneRide" adaptive dampers, a decklid spoiler, an aluminum tower brace, heavy duty springs, the same six-piston Brembo brakes as the GT350R, a valve-operated selectable exhaust system, as well as oil coolers for the engine, transmission, and differential. Good stuff! Per Car & Driver's 2016 test: "The base GT350 reaches 60 mph in 4.3 seconds after a somewhat difficult launch and does the quarter-mile in 12.5 seconds at 117 mph", suggesting a better driver could break the 4 second 0-60 time depending on circumstances. "The 5.2-liter, 526-hp engine provides a sound more like what you hear from a Ferrari", said Car & Driver.
The interior is really nice with Shelby accents and higher end finishes than your typical Mustang. All the creature comforts you could want are present, making this hot Shelby easy, and tremendously fun to drive. Great street manners and very capable on the track.
