Powering this square body GMC pickup for sale is a 350 CID V8 with a GM TH350 3-speed automatic trans. With a custom dual exhaust system with ceramic-coated long tube headers, you'll know when it barks to life that this isn't your grandpa's old beater pickup. Open the engine bay and you'll see it's "dressed to impress". Starting up top with the MSD throttle body fuel injection system, with its "helper" MSD component parts (MSD Fuel Pressure Regulator, Digital 6AL spark enhancer with rev limiter, and Blaster HVC II electronic high output coil), you know it's daily driver ready. There are plenty of chrome goodies, a March Serpentine belt drive adapter system, Vintage Air, an extra-capacity radiator designed to look original, massive twin Derale electric cooling fans with controller, CPP master cylinder and power brake booster, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, and loomed MSD plug wires. The engine bay has plenty of room to work for those who prefer to do their own thing rather than leave it up to a shop. Backing the muscular V8 is an easy shifting automatic transmission. With a truck that's as simple as "throw it in gear and go!" this truck is one easy cruiser. The power is delivered to the pavement via a GM 12-bolt rear end with PosiTrac. Handling is improved by CPP Tubular upper and lower control arms up front and stopping is definitely better than this truck is used to, due to the addition of CPP 4-wheel disc brakes. This truck has the looks AND the goods. The pearl white paint really glows in the sun, and the custom hand-painted pinstriping adds some pizazz for the closeups. The wood bed shows nicely but will still handle whatever load you want to toss in the bed. With an exterior so sharp and custom, you'll be surprised when you look inside the cab. The interior is a real throwback, with most details left to "appear" normal. The gray and black motif provides a classic look, but you'll find the glorious scent of high-quality leather filling your nostrils - this is no run of the mill vinyl here. The bench is warm and welcoming, is more supportive than the original, but still reminds you that yes, this still is a classic and functional C1500 pickup. Add in a tilt steering column, new carpet, comfortable seating, and a new double-DIN head unit with NAV, and you have a recipe for some nice cruising. With slightly raked-forward stance, slightly lowered suspension, and custom 22-inch American Racing mags wrapped in low-profile performance radials (Pirelli PZERO NERO, size P265/30ZR22 up front, P315/25ZR22 out back), you're going to get a vehicle that not only looks sharper, but drives sharper, too.
