Starting life as the upscale sister to the Fairlane. By 1970 the Torino was considered a stand-alone model. This second-generation Torino was manufactured from 1970-71. All new "Coke bottle" styling with a longer hood, shorter decklid and a wider/ lower stance are standout body style features. The GT model came with a non-functional hood scoop, dual sport mirrors, GT Emblems, honeycomb rear taillights, and reflective stripes running down the sides of the car.
This 1970 Ford Torino GT convertible is painted in painted in Wimbledon White with a black vinyl convertible top and GT striping running down the sides of the car. A set of B.F. Goodrich raised white letter tires are mounted on factory chrome five spoke wheels. The interior has high black bucket seats with diamond stitched center panels and a custom center console with built in oil/ water gauges and two cup holders. A custom wood steering wheel, Blaupunkt AM/FM/cd radio and power convertible top are nice added features. Under the hood is a 351 Cleveland V-8 attached to a three-speed automatic transmission. For your driving pleasure, this 1970 Ford Torino GT comes with an aluminum radiator, power steering and Wilwood manual front disk brakes.
