Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present to you this 1966 Ford Mustang coupe. This iconic Mustang could be the symbol of the 1960's and man, if you were there, and remember any of it, it was wild! It was like something in the air, young people were speaking their minds and grooving to good music man. Oh, and they ended every sentence with man. This Red Mustang coupe has a satin black hood that lets you know that something special is under the hood. The 289 cubic inch Ford small block has long been regarded as one of the best small blocks ever built! They spin or rev so effortlessly and make gobs (a technical term) of horsepower for their size. This 289 has an Edelbrock water pump and intake and a Brawler 4-barrel Carb which appears to be designed after a Holley. This double pumping carb causes two things to happen, the rear tires scream and the driver's heart to quicken. A pair of tri-Y long tube headers improve the flow of the exhaust and add a deep tone. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic C4 and it provides crisp shifts, in fact crisp, clean and tidy are words I would use to describe this pony. A full set of American racing 5 spoke rims add to the authenticity of this car as changing rims is the first thing we did back then. The interior looks to be original and in great shape. So, break out your old tie dyed shirt, jump in this car and let it take you back to the 60's, please bring me back a lava lamp and some tang. Options for this 1966 Ford Mustang includes: AM radio, Power steering and brakes, Seat belts, Vinyl interior and Alloy rims.
