Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is pleased to offer this 1977 Chevrolet Corvette. The '77 model year marked the manufacturers milestone with the production of their 500,000th Corvette. The Corvette is a sports car produced by Chevrolet since 1953. It can be considered the first car in this category made in the United States of America, so much so that it became the most iconic sports car made in USA. This Corvette features a double opening sunroof (T-TOP) that can be removed and is finished in white over red leather. Power is provided by a 350CID V8 mated to a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission, while equipment includes a Positraction rear axle, a four-barrel carburetor, 15″ aluminum wheels, power steering and brakes and sport mirrors. The seats are upholstered in red leather with black trim accenting the center console and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, a tilt steering column, a rear defogger, power windows, and center-stack-mounted auxiliary gauges that include a clock, water temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage and fuel level. A leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer. If you are looking for an affordable C3 Corvette, this might be the one for you.
