Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to present 1930 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan Hot Rod. The Model A was produced from 1928-1932 with over 4.8 million units sold and by 1930 there were over nine body styles available. The Model A Tudor is widely recognized as the hotrodder's choice of chassis for builds of all kinds. As I'm sure you've noticed, a true hotrodder has had their hands on this one at some point and has made quite a few changes to the drivetrain and appearance. This bad-to-the-bone Model A is equipped with a 402CID roller V-8 with a Competition Cams “Thumpr” cam, Offenhauser manifold, dual Edelborck carburetors, long tube Hedman headers flowing through a dual exhaust. All that power goes through the TH400 automatic transmission with a B&M shift kit and into the 9” Ford rear end. The wheels are Rocket Racing polished 5-spokes sitting in a set of sticky Mickey Thompson tires. New front disc brakes with drums in the rear help stop all this power. The body has been painted in a bright red with white hot flames. Features include an exposed engine bay (engine skirts included), a windshield visor, a driver and passenger side mirror, Vintage air, polished headlight housings, polished and paint matched suspension. The cabin is trimmed in gray cloth bucket seats with matching carpet and door panels. Additional interior features include lap belts, a gray finished dashboard, and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with new speakers. The custom 3-spoke steering wheel sits nicely in front of a set of Stewart-Warner gauges that include a 160mph speedometer, water temperature, oil pressure, fuel level and battery voltage. If you’re looking for a fiery hotrod that’s like nothing else, then this is the one you want to own, but you better hang on!
