Tri-Five Chevys are universally coveted by the collector car community and it seems that each one has a unique restoration story to tell. This sharp '55 is painted in a two-tone Black with Gray hardtop. The custom Black painted Foose wheels really give this 210 some curb appeal and they are stanced nicely with 18's in the front and 20's in the rear. Behind the rims this Tri-Five is showing off 4-wheel disc brakes- a nice upgrade to have! Under the signature hood ornament is an upgraded engine to something many of us are familiar with on modern GM trucks and SUV's- the 5.3l “Vortec" V8 engine. This example has been fitted with an aftermarket air intake, aluminum radiator for better cooling capacity and exhaust headers to provide a head-turning soundtrack. The transmission is a 4-speed automatic that offers solid reliability and good mileage at cruising speed thanks to the overdrive gear. Something worth noting is that the factory data plate has survived the test of time and is still visible on the passenger side firewall of this '55 Chevy. Pop open the doors on this classic and you'll find the inside has been nicely redone as well. Custom cloth/vinyl upholstered Black and Gray bench seats follow the footsteps of the original '55 Chevys that matched exterior and interior color schemes. The factory style speedometer is still in place along with the vent controls, AM radio and steering wheel with chrome horn ring, although the column has been upgraded with tilt capability. A couple of extra aftermarket gauges are present on the dash to keep an eye on the essential information. Furthermore, a floor shifter has been fitted for gear selection and a kill switch has been installed for preservation of the battery and for security when you're not behind the wheel of this Chevrolet 210.
