Every worn part was removed and refurbished or replaced out right - including extensive bodywork. The car now appears 'as new' and would make any purist proud. However, the 292ci V8 Y block was tossed in favor of a fuel injected, computer managed, aluminum 6.2L LS3 V8! A 4L60 automatic handles shifting duties with a Dana 44 rear end putting the power to the ground. When you slide behind the wheel, you're greeted with factory power seats, electric power steering and power brakes. Enhancing the modern experience are disk brakes up front and electric fans to keep things cool under the hood. The car comes with a binder full of receipts and documents covering the restoration. It runs great, looks great and drives great. A Yellow, head turning, 50s roadster that will make anyone proud.
