I am such a connoisseur of the Lincoln Continental Mark III that upon seeing stock #2911 on Gateway Classic's website, I consummated a purchase via wire transfer of funds the very next day (without even waiting for a test drive). I booked a one-way flight there three days later, and admired the car for about 45 minutes in person while Charley prepared my paperwork, and the car, for the long drive from East St. Louis back to Washington, DC., my faith and trust in a car that performed even better than it looks may have surprised some, but not me. ...I'm having fun with this car. Thank you for the experience allowing me to come up and get it. Everyone who sees this car turns their heads. It's absolutely awesome...Every car has it's issues and that's just the way getting a classic 36 years old is. You were right and honest the whole time. A buyer has to weight the want vs. the output to decide and buy. I got what I wanted that was definitely not available anywhere in this area (El Paso Desert Southwest Area).
