A second generation that replaced the s30 in late 78 and the first time a Datsun would be sold with the Nissan name on it. This example is a rare find with all literature including the original Japanese “build sheet” going with this beauty. The paint is clean and true to what it should be with a respray done sometime ago. Owned by the same family since new this cream puff was extremely well taken care of. The interior on this champagne/mahogany example is one of the cleanest original interiors I have seen. With the all the gauges functioning and the AC blowing cold this 280 is ready to go. Loaded with the premium package this Nissan had everything except leather making it a lot more desirable and more fun to drive. Under the hood the original 2.8l is in tip top shape starting right up without a hitch. The inline 6 pulls hard and was designed to rev higher making this an absolute blast to drive. With a softer ride than earlier models the 280 has a smoother ride while not sacrificing performance.
