The Philadelphia location presents this one owner 2013 Factory Five MK4 Roadster. The exterior is finished in Portofino Blue with black interior. Also known as an AC Cobra Replica, this is one hot little roadster. This car has power steering and brakes and a hot Mustang born 302 that is stroked to 347 CI and equipped with Mass Flow Mass Air Fuel injection and ceramic headers that lead to Stainless Steele side pipes. The engine has a thermostatically controlled oil cooler. A Ford T 5 manual transmission with hydraulic clutch turns you into a real driver as you take this car through the gears and chew up the asphalt. The rear is a 1995 Ford independent. Turn the key and this little power house comes to life with a roar. When you order these cars from Factory Five everything is upgradable. This one has a 4 wheel Willwood disc brake system and modified column turn signals to go along with its many performance upgrades. With a professional restoration meticulously finished in 2012, this 1954 Jaguar XK120 Drop Head convertible is truly a sight to behold. The XK120 was the fastest production car of its day and was a strong competitor on race day winning a few 24-hour endurance races including Mt. Druitt in Australia back in 1954. The “120” represented the top speed right from the factory. This XK120 is in excellent shape and has had a few minor upgrades bringing it up to date and making it an excellent driver’s car including converting the electrical system to 12 volt from 6 volt, an electronic ignition, electric fan for optimal cooling, and a tremec 5-speed manual transmission adding synchros in all gears and an overdrive gear. These upgrades do not take away from the original looks of the car but increase the drivability dramatically. Redone just this last year in 2017 included the top end of the engine rebuilt with new valve seats for pump gas, rebuilt SU carburetors, rebuilt brake cylinders on all corners, new plugs and wires installed, and in 2018 the interior was reupholstered, and the paint was ceramic coated for ease of cleaning. The first impression that this AC Cobra gives you is the impression of it belonging to that timeless generation racers when a CD was just two successive letters in the alphabet and before the mullet haircut was thought to be a haircut. With its steely-grey satin gloss exterior, this 1965 AC Cobra looks strong and competitive. It is a good and rare quality that this replica has not been highly decorated and personalized. If you are looking for a base AC Cobra to add imaginative flair to and to make truly yours, this is a great one to start with.
