For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1996 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Ram Air. This red beauty has been very well cared for over the years by a Pontiac collector. Itâ€™s clear than this one has been treated like one of the family. Currently on the third owner and showing 59,942 as actual mileage. This special ordered Trans Am was delivered to Sapaugh Pontiac in Herculaneum, MO. Sold on March 16th, 1996. What better color for a WS6 Trans Am than Bright Red over Graphite cloth. Power comes from the powerful Ram Air LT-1 350 V8 and is sent through a 4L60E. This combination would yield lots of fun and 25 MPG on the highway. Equipment consist of dual air bags, ABS braking, Power mirrors, cruise control, fog lights, Power windows, Power door locks, Power driver's seat and T-Tops. The original window sticker and service booklet both come with the sale.

Don't miss out on an opportunity for an original and unmodified Trans Am. On a neat side note, this Trans Am WS6 was featured in Jim Schild's Original Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am 1967-2002 The Restorer's Guide, which was published in 2007. 1996 was the first year for the Ram Air since the mid 70's and the first year for 17" wheels. 1996 and 1997 Ram Air cars were also all SLP cars. 1998 and on would all be on the standard production line. With Pontiac no longer in business these are expected to be worth more than their brother Camaro in years to come.
