These kit cars were available with either a Chevrolet-based front-engine drivetrain or a rear-engine powertrain based on the 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle, and this example uses the latter with the Beetle's horizontally opposed four-cylinder mounted in what would normally be the MG's trunk... or boot, if you will. Motoring has never been more enjoyable than a small British roadster, and cruising in this 1983 MG TD Replica is no different with its low doors, narrow window frame and the leather-like naugahyde seats.
