Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is proud to digitally present this 1968 Camaro Convertible British Green Resto-Mod, a timeless classic that's a true embodiment of American muscle.

1968 Camaro and 1 of just 1800 convertibles built in the one-year-only color of British Racing Green. Owner states it has been said to be all original throughout the entire drive train, which is uncommon to find intact on a Gen-1 Camaro. Never hit car retaining all its original sheet metal, dated glass, chrome trim, etc. down to its spare tire. Arizona car all its life and a rust-free survivor. Received a full ground-up restoration, then upgraded to a true resto-mod, while retaining its core originality and stock appearance. Refinements such as modern suspension, braking, steering, cooling, structural reinforcements, and sound deadening materials all help to achieve a tight and secure ride feel with great road handling for a more pleasurable, stress free, and modernized performing driving experience. Higher-end level PG paint is great, with a painted white bumblebee front stripe. Nice build, no budget parts and only the highest quality throughout. Interesting to note this is the same color combination as the 1 of 1 historical 1968 COPO Camaro convertible.

Original matching numbers 327 engine fully rebuilt to 365 HP by well-known race engine builder Tommy Martino Racing in Wall Twp., NJ. Aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake, aluminum oil pan, aluminum radiator, chrome Holley 4bbl carburetor, MSD electronic ignition, 160 amp alternator, etc.. ($20k engine compartment).

Rebuilt numbers matching (owner states) Powerglide transmission.

New wiring throughout.

Rebuilt heater core vent unit.

Custom Stainless exhaust, full-length Hedman headers, x-pipe, and Magnaflow mufflers.

PPG multi-stage paint with painted white front stripe.

Mostly original interior; upgraded Pro-touring style seats by Procar, Plush carpeting, with Dynamat sound deadening materials.

Vintage recreation dash combination-gauge cluster by Classic Instruments.
