This 20th Anniversary Pace Car edition is #56 of only 1,555 produced and argued to be the most powerful and refined Firebird. Fitted with the same turbocharged 3.8L V6 found in the Buick GNX paired to the 200-4R transmission that were rebuilt about 1,000 miles ago, this Trans Am has a need for speed. Pontiac rated it at 250 horsepower, but the GM factory dyno rang up 300 horsepower on a pretty consistent basis. It handles the curves in the road just as it's meant to.
The white exterior paint is believed to be mostly original and is in good condition. The camel colored leather interior is very clean as evident by the photos. The back seats fold down for added cargo space. The rear hatch has a retractable cover and hold the storage bag for the T-tops.
All of this sits ontop of gold wheels. Also included are owner's manuals, Pontiac Historic Services (PHS) documentation, original window sticker, service manuals, and 20th Anniversary edition cassette and keychain. Options include a/c, anti-theft system, tilt wheel, power mirros, power brakes, power steering, and power locks.
