Visual differences included the removal of the red accents from the grill and the two small lights located just above it. Ford began titling 1947s in February 1947. This '47 Ford has gone under a recent frame off restoration. The current owner used to build these classics for a living, and did all the body work on this Sedan Deluxe, so you know all the work was professionally done. This Ford Sedan Deluxe is equipped with a recently rebuilt 289 CID motor that has been freshened up with some nice Hi-Po performance parts and Chassis Engineering rear suspension assembly. Accommodating that fresh motor is a Ford C4 3-speed automatic transmission that rows through the gears effortlessly. The rear end has come out of an earlier model Fairlane which is the 8" and is equipped with a set of 3:50 gears. The interior of the car still shows very well with most of it being very original, including the full dash setup. The car has also been recently repainted in gorgeous Toyota Rally red color that really pops when you get it out into the sunlight.
