1965 Imperial LeBaron

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present This 1965 Imperial LeBaron. this four-door pillarless hardtop was produced at Chrysler's Jefferson Avenue facility in Detroit and was acquired by the current owner in 2012. Power is from a 413ci V8 paired with a Torqueflite automatic transmission, and the car is original in black with a red leather interior. Factory Equipment includes power-operated accessories, front and rear bench seats, and air conditioning.

Chrysler built 2,164 examples of the Imperial LeBaron for 1965, and the base price was $6,596. Finished from the factory in Formal Black (BB1) Features include a black vinyl-covered roof, a chrome crossbar grille, headlights inset behind glass covers, dual fender-mounted side mirrors, bright rocker-panel trim, a broad C-pillar, and a stylized spare-tire bump incorporated into the trunk lid.

Factory 15? wheels are fitted with Imperial-branded covers and wear a set of new whitewall radial tires installed in June 2021.

The red leather interior (H3R) features fold-down central armrests for the front occupants. Amenities include walnut wood veneers, a power-adjustable front seat, air conditioning, a tilt steering column, power windows, and a push-button AM/FM radio.

The padded dash is clad in matching red upholstery with ribbed metal paneling, and a conventional column-mounted shifter replaced the push-button shifter for the 1965 model year. Factory instrumentation includes a ribbon-style speedometer, a clock, and a five-digit odometer that shows approximately 25k miles.
