Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas showroom is pleased to offer a genuine icon of the 1970s. A 1970 Chevrolet El Camino, built nicely to be a fun street driver, The engine is a freshly built 355 cubic inch V8 (350 Bored 30 Over). An upgraded camshaft, ported and polished heads, and an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold with a 650 CFM Holley carburetor. All of this is backed by a built TH350 3-speed automatic with a 2800 RPM stall torque converter and 3.55 gears on a Posi in the 12-bolt rear. The Engine is neat and a few chrome dress-up pieces look great in the engine compartment. Underneath you will find Electronic Cutouts for that mean exhaust note on the fly.
The interior is mildly modified, and the low-back bucket seats are wrapped in comfortable gray fabric. Custom door panels were built to match. The metallic grey paint was laid over smooth solid metal. A small cowl hood was added for that muscular look. All around the body, hand-painted pinstripes were applied for that custom look. The wheels and tires are a vintage muscle look with white letters and multi-hole aluminum wheels. Everything looks just about right on this car. Reliable horsepower, Power Brakes, Power Steering, and a comfortable interior is all included in this package. Ready to haul in more ways than one.
