The big 460 is backed by a 4-speed manual, with plenty of torque-handling capability to ensure smooth power delivery, and its gearing works well with the 4.10:1 gears in the Dana 60 axles. The big block Ford is putting out plenty of power to run around all day on its 21/49-16.5LT Irok Super Swamper tires without feeling the least bit sluggish. Of interesting note, the tires and lift on this truck make it almost as big as the original Bigfoot, which rode on 48-inch tires (1" smaller than Big Red here does). A four-wheel disc brake upgrade makes for smooth, fade-free stops, which is an improvement over the original rear drum setup. The gray cloth interior is in great shape and provides that "factory" feel to its occupants (the main difference being the fact that you're looking out the windshield from what might seem like a second floor view)! The AM/FM/CD head unit puts out good sound and provides enough volume that you can overcome the engine/exhaust music (if you prefer to), whether you're out on the back forty pulling trees down or using the new receiver hitch under the new chrome rear bumper to tow your houseboat down to the gulf.
