Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is excited to present this 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. 1965 was the first full year of Ford Mustang production and the first time a new body style was offered, the 2+2 fastback. This 1965 Mustang fastback is powered by a 289 CID V8 (VIN code A) with a 4-barrel carburetor, andis backed by an upgraded 5-speed manual transmission. The exterior is finished in yellow, which is a nice contrast to its black interior. It features Vintage Air, Wilwood front disc brakes and upgraded radio, and rides on Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires on American Racing wheels. The interior is black (code 26), sporting black bucket seats in front and rear, and matching carpet, headliner, and door panels. Driver convenience features include power brakes with Wilwood front discs, and a pair of cupholders straddle the driveshaft tunnel behind the floor shifter. A Custom Sound AM/FM stereo rests above the air-conditioning vents. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges that include fuel level, oil pressure, battery voltage and coolant temperature.
