Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is extremely proud to present this stunning 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am! Few Pontiacs are more iconic than the Trans Am, especially from this era! Something about putting a big bird on the hood really gets people's attention. Of course, the styling of these late 70's Trans Am model is universally loved and this black example wearing a red/gray Fire Chicken is no exception. Powered by the 400 ci (6.6 litre) Pontiac V8, this motor sings the song of a different era out of the quad tail pipes. The shaker hood lets everyone know you mean business and the Turbo 400 automatic transmission is ready to cruise! The interior features incredibly plush Black Cloth seats and this T/A also features an AM/FM radio if you prefer music over the sound of those quad pipes. The radio has been hidden in the dash but it is accessible if needed behind a small black plastic cover. Climbing into the black interior, memories of long hair and late nights flood your brain. Recent work to this Trans Am includes new tires, a fresh set of mufflers, some new exhaust parts and new smooth riding shocks!
