The K10 was available in two bed configurations, with the sleek Fleetside bed, or the fendered step side bed being the two options. Notable trim offerings included the Silverado and Scottsdale. For 1987, which was the final year of 3rd Gen K10 production, Chevrolet changed the name of the K10 to the V10, in order to avoid any confusion with the forthcoming Fourth Generation Chevrolet C/K.
