Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas would like to present this 1981 Chevrolet Luv Diesel Pickup truck. Also known as 1981 Chevy Luv Mikado (LIght Utility Vehicle). The Chevy Luv, was GM's answer to the rising popularity of Japanese trucks in the United States. Although the Chevy Luv was a rebadged Isuzu Faster pickup truck, it quickly established itself as a popular option in its class. From 1972 through 1982, Chevrolet sold more than half a million of these little trucks. This Luv is one family owned and modified with a auxiliary fuel tank and added upgraded springs for greater load weight. The Luv is painted silver wand complimented with a red interior. Powering this little pickup is a 2.2L OHV 4 cylinder engine running through a 4-speed automatic transmission with 4 wheel drive.
