Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1988 Chevrolet Corvette. The Corvette is as American as apple pie. With over 60 years of production and eight design changes the Corvette has withstood the test of time. In 1953 the first Corvette rolled off the assembly line becoming the most popular sports car in history. The excitement continues as the first mid-engine Corvette rolled of the assembly line in 2020.

This 1988 Chevrolet Corvette is painted in classic burgundy with a medium gray interior. Under the hood is a 350 cubic inch V-8 attached to a four-speed automatic. Improvements to the engine/ drivetrain include a 208/221 @ 50 ZZ4 GM camshaft, Jegs roller rockers, valve spring with seals, replacement of fuel injectors, under drive crank pully, installation of an adjustable fuel pressure cup, upgraded Strange 3:54 ratio rear end with half shafts serviced and the transmission has been rebuilt. Newer tires, shocks and exhaust are also recent improvements. Comfort features include air conditioning, AM/FM/cd radio, tilt/ telescopic steering wheel, cruise, power windows, power lock, power mirrors, power seats, Targa top, power steering and power brakes.
