Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1987 Chevrolet El Camino. Few cars in history are as easily identifiable and loved like the El Camino. Over the 25 model years and 5 generations, Chevy's half truck, half car has proven to be a classic from its early days when it debuted in 1959. The El Camino was created in direct competition to Ford's Ranchero that hit the streets in 1957. When the El Camino first came into the market it was built on the Chevrolet X-frame and shared the same engine options and styling as the other big Chevy cars at the time like the Impala and Biscayne. In 1964 the El Camino was completely retooled on the new mid-size Chevelle platform. For the remainder of the El Camino's life it carried on as a midsized vehicle with car styling comparable to the Chevelle/Malibu but with that unmistakable pick-up truck bed.

This 1987 Chevrolet El Camino is handsomely painted in dark gray metallic with a burgundy cloth bench seat interior. A set of 18” alloys give this El Camino quite the sporty look. Under the hood is a 305 V-8 attached to a three-speed automatic transmission. Added features include power steering, power brakes, JVC AM/FM radio w/ Bluetooth, manual sunroof, and a rubber bedliner mat.
