Gateway Classic Cars is fired up to present this 1962 Ford Thunderbird at the Milwaukee Showroom. While Ford has checked all boxes from performance to practical vehicles in the past, the Thunderbird made way for them to be know to make a good personal luxury vehicle as well. The 62 model most regarded as the “bullet body car" has an iconic look that looks unmistakeable to any classic out there on the road. Coated in a cream white paint, the TBird shows as a prime example of what the 60's looked like, especially when accompanied by a seafoam green that contrasts beautifully against the exterior color. Under the hood of this large bodied land yacht is a 390 cubic inch FE V8 which succeeded the 352 V8 found in earlier Thunderbird models. The 390 supplied a healthy 300 plus horsepower which was very ahead of it's era in terms of performance. The V8 is paired to a smooth shifting automatic transmission making moving forward even more luxurious at feel. This car features AM Radio, power steering, power seats, and tilt wheel with swing away shaft to allow people of all sizes to get in this luxury legend.
