Wire WheelsGateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1930 Ford Model A Speedster. Ford's Model A was their follow up to the revolutionary Model T. With a more user friendly design the Model A was popular and successful in its own right. This 1930 example has been turned into a speedster thanks to a kit from Rootlieb INC and boy does it look speedy! The wood body parts have been sealed in epoxy and fiberglass and the body trim has been extended at the rear of the chassis. Painted in an olive green and complemented by lime green wire wheels this Speedster has a look all its own. The running boards are Brazilian Cherry and the front bumper is both Brazilian Cherry and Oak. The bucket seats are custom upholstered in a brown leather and make any tush fit like a glove. On the wooden dash you'll find a mounted antique ring wind clock and a push button starter. The engine is a standard Model A engine that has been upgraded to a 12V system that features fuses to protect all circuits. Also upgraded on the engine is an automated timing system. The more you look at this Speedster the more you notice the nice little details. If you're looking for a unique old Ford that will get attention wherever you go this is the one you want to own! Options include spare tire, seat belts, leather interior, and wire wheels.
