Powered by the smooth Mercedes six and an automatic transmission this car is a blend of luxury and performance. The engine is a single overhead cam unit with two valves per cylinder and was good for around 175 HP which in a car weighing 3400 lbs. translates into respectable performance. And of course, because it is a Mercedes it is very well equipped. Air conditioning, AM FM CD, power steering and power brakes, power locks and windows make you comfortable in the leather interior. The hardtop is easily removeable and of course the convertible top goes up and down in a flash. Sunday morning drives will be a pleasure.
