Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is pleased to present 1969 Ford Mustang. The Ford Mustang is the longest-surviving breed of classic American pony car-and the generation that started the line has aged well. The first thing you notice about this Mustang is the freshly detailed Raven Black paint with white vinyl convertible top as it shines in the sunlight. The engine bay contains Ford's hardy 302 cubic-inch V8 backed by a rebuilt C4 automatic transmission which has the right added touches such as the Cobra valve covers, polished air grabber, new convertible top motor, rebuilt carburetor and a new dual exhaust. This is a strong powerhouse and features power rack and pinion steering, 17" chrome Foose Legend wheels, power brakes, independent coil over suspension, and Wilwood front discs make it an all-around solid cruiser. The cabin features front deluxe bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in white vinyl with matching door panels and carpets, and woodgrain trim on the doors and dashboard. Amenities include power steering, a push-button radio, an analog clock, Mustang-branded floor mats, and a floor-mounted shifter. The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges that include fuel level, engine temperature, oil pressure and battery charge. The five-digit odometer shows 78k miles, although the true mileage is unknown. If you are looking for a driver quality 1st generation Mustang convertible, this '69 could be the example for you.
