These third-generation Mustangs were produced by Ford from 1979 until 1993 & have become one of the most sought after "modern classics" in the world! Built on Ford's Fox platform, commonly referred to as the Fox Body Mustang, this 1991 Ford Mustang GT bears the highest displacement engine offered in the Fox Body, the 302 CID (4.9L) small block V8 & this example is paired up to a 5-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. Unaltered, these 5.0's produced 225hp and 300lb-ft of torque, which by todays standards seems tiny, but considering that the weight on these Fox Bodies is under 3,000lbs, they are little rocket ships! Finished in Bright Red over the Scarlet Red interior, this CarFax documented 43,513 mile '91 Mustang GT is a nice, low mileage example of an increasingly rare unmolested Fox Body.
