One reason that it is so reliable is that it was in production before certain regulations were put in place for diesel engines like the absence of emissions controls on the engine makes it far less complicated. These trucks are tough and ready for heavy duty work, even once they've gotten into high milage territory. XLT just means getting more of everything you love about a truck. The long bed gives you more capacity; the higher 4x4 stance on chrome MB Motorsports 17" wheels wrapped in aggressive 285/70s B.F. Goodrich Baja Champion rubber that gives you more go-anywhere ability and the overall tough truck look gives you more stature. It makes for an attractive look on a pickup that was made to be useful. Inside this XLT is long-haul comfort! A bench seat and automatic trans makes the miles effortlessly go by. The steering wheel is on a tilt column to give you a good view of the full gauge package with large speedo and handy tach. This is an extended cab, and that means a back seat to hold more people or secure cargo. This XLT is loaded with features including power windows, power locks, updated DUAL AM/FM/CD radio and air conditioning.
