Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to present this 1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 in bright white. The Fox-body Mustang in many ways is the optimum entry point to classic muscle ownership without having to pay the added tax that is afflicted 1960s and '70s cars. Sitting under the massive 4" fiberglass cowl hood is a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a freshly rebuilt four-speed automatic overdrive transmission with the Traction-Lok limited-slip differential (all of this was recently replaced or rebuilt, including the ring & pinion, axle shaft seals, Posi clutch kit, diff bearings, etc. at 47,444 miles). The engine has been mildly upgraded with a tubular GT40 intake, a B303 Ford Racing cam, the K&N air intake and a set of M.A.C Products shorty headers carrying that beautiful 5.0 engine note out through the off-road H-pipe & Flowmaster exhaust system. A set of chromed Cobra style five-spoke 16 alloy wheels feature Cobra center caps and are mounted with newer 225/50s on the front and 245/50s on the rear. Stopping power is provided by power front disc brakes and rear drums. The cabin features front sport seats with power lumbar support and a split-folding rear seat upholstered in red cloth. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a rear window defroster, sunroof, power windows and door locks. The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges that include battery voltage, coolant temperature, oil temperature and fuel level. This Mustang has been with the same owner since early 2008 & she has decided to let it go, so if you are looking for a sharp example of a classic pony that is ready to giddy up and go, this is the one you want to own!
