Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to offer this amazing piece of 90's history, a 1993 For Mustang GT Convertible, for sale on consignment with our Arizona Show Room located in North Phoenix! It's time to dig out that Vanilla Ice CD, put the top down, put the Ray Bans on and go for a cruise! This is a striking example of a well-loved, well maintained Fox Body Mustang offered in Reef Blue with Titanium lower trim. Out of the 6,536 Mustang GT convertibles produced in 1993, only 671 had this paint color combo. Standard features include a 5.0-liter high output SEFI V-8 engine mated to a 5 speed T-5 transmission. There really is something special about the Tremec T-5 transmission, it has such a mechanical, analog feel to it. It comes as no surprise that the T-5 is the longest-running manual transmission in the history of the Mustang. Continuing with the standard features you have the Quadra-shock rear suspension with vertically mounted nitrogen gas pressurized hydraulic shocks, horizontally mounted hydraulic axle dampers with freon filled bag. A 0.83-inch stabilizer bar and variable rate coil springs help to keep this car grounded. This car is equipped with cruise control, power 4-way driver's seat with lumbar, air conditioning, power windows, power mirrors, power top, power door locks, remote trunk release, black leather interior, tinted glass, luggage rack, fog lights and a power top with a glass rear window. This Mustang is all original except for the updated air conditioning, radiator (installed 08/2017), tires (replaced in 2014) and the battery (replaced in 2019). The odometer only shows 14,956 miles which the owner claims are actual and when you look at the photographs, they certainly support that claim!
