Small and economical with attractive styling; these were popular cars in the gas crunch 70s. This Red and black midget is in amazing shape. Evidence of a restoration (2003) and loving maintenance are obvious everywhere you look. The current owner had the car for 24 years. During that time the car was blessed with a rebuilt engine, fresh paint and the replacement or repair of items that fail with age. Such as rear shocks and brakes all around. The car presents as a cherished survivor. There’s next to no wear on the black vinyl seats, no cracks in the dash, and all the gauge’s work. The heater, horn, and wipers function as well. The car has a rip free roof, and fresh tires. Amazingly, the body and underside are rust free too! The 1.5l four-cylinder engine is eager to fire up, and the car scoots about with ease. This 79 MG midget is a great weekend runabout or fun budget sports car!
