The MGB is a two-door sports car manufactured from 1962 until 1980 by BMC (British Motor Corporation) and later by British Leyland as a four-cylinder, soft-top sports car. MGBs are known as fun to drive, top down cars that get plenty of 'thumbs ups' and smiles when people see them. This MGB is ready for the new owner to go over the car and put some time into making it a great little convertible to enjoy and take evening and Sunday cruises in. The owner has included a complete aftermarket a/c unit (that need installed). The owner states that there is a new battery, a recently replaced clutch, a recently replaced ignition switch, a recently replaced fuel sending unit, and many other recently replaced parts. This car is ready to be refurbished to a fine, cool sports car.

The MGB was manufactured from 1962-1980. It was marketed as a four-cylinder soft top sport car by British Leland of England. The MGB has been considered as a nicely styled, affordable, fun driving car. Even today, the timeless design of the MGB is just as popular today as it was 40 plus years ago.
Our 1978 MGB Convertible is a nice example of the British sports car phenomenon of the 1960s and 70s. Painted in fire engine red with a black vinyl interior and Convertible top. A luggage rack, racing stripes and steel wheels add to the sporty look. Under the hood is a 1. 8- liter four -cylinder engine attached to a four-speed manual transmission. The engine was overhauled about 10,000 miles ago including modifications including a Weber carburetor, Rally cam and oil cooler. Newer carpet and Convertible top have also been installed. The original hard top also comes with the car.
