This Dune Buggy has all the power you should need to get around. The motor was built by ATK. It's a 302-crate motor with 300hp and is just getting broke in with 8,000 miles since built. Kennedy engineered adaptor plate for the engine to the VW 5 rib bus transmission which was rebuilt to handle 350hp. The gears were changed in third and fourth for more top speed. Fox air shocks on the rear. Regular shocks on the front with new 930 Porsche cv joints. Garmin GPS that has all the miles that are on the vehicle. The Red and diamond plate really make this Dune Buggy stand out from all the rest. Nice aluminum rims wrapped in radial tires. Options on the 1969 Volkswagen Dune Buggy are: Garmin GPS, Radial Tires, Seatbelts and Vinyl Interior.

The Meyers Manx was the brain child of famed engineer, artist, boat builder and surfer Bruce Meyer. In short, Bruce created a one of a kind car that would set off road records, win races and become one of the most iconic car crazes in pop culture by creating the Dune Buggy. The Manx had won 39 out of 41 slalom races and won its class in the Pike-s Peak Hill Climb. The body is sitting on a full length 1973 Beetle H frame that has not been cut down like most Buggy frames. Giving her rigidity is a 6-point roll cage that has been powder coated to match the tube bumpers.
