This handsome 'shoebox' Ford wears dark maroon and white paint with style and class, standard was slatted fender skirts, gold anodized script and beautiful that rounded out the custom look. The shoebox Ford was a 2 door sedan built to go head to head with Chevrolet's popular hardtop coupes. The styling was similar to the previous year, with a single central 'bullet' in the frowning chrome grille. Restored to a high level, this sedan shows extremely well. The engine compartment is clean, and all the original trim is present, complete and brilliant. Speaking of the engine compartment, under the hood you'll find a smooth running 239ci Flat head V8 engine backed by 3 speed manual transmission. It is equipped with the original wind up clock, a vacuum powered fan, and 'Magic-Air' heating, ventilation and defrosting system.
