From the dawn of it's era the pickup truck was never a glamorous vehicle but in 1978 Dodge dressed up the Adventurer trim level to make this fine creation: The Li'l Red Express. Painted in bright red with real wood bed paneling and exhaust stacks the Li'l Red Express had a look all its own and became an instant hit. The special option package was more than just skin deep with 360 V8 with special tuning borrowed from the police spec 360. Pumping out 225hp, 295 torque and paired with a 3 speed automatic imagine how this Li'l truck can get up and go! Restomod Pickup Truck
Powered by a 318 CID V8 engine with a 4-Speed Automatic transmission. Red exterior. Black interior.
It Sports a peppy 318 cubic inch V8 and 4-speed automatic transmission, this was a great canvas to start this mid-year restomod. Virtually every panel on both the interior and exterior were worked over in some way to bring this Viper Red beauty that you see before you. The front grill is off a newer Ram truck, modified to fit flush within the stock headlight locations. The recessed areas on the tailgate were made 'shallower' to simulate a ghosted effect on the bodyline. A one-off set of 18' front and 20' rear billet wheel is fitted, wrapped in Nitto tires cleanly tucked under the fenders, thanks to a lowered suspension.
Pop open the drivers' door and stare in amazement at the 2015 Chevy pick up seats recovered and cleanly fitted around the center console pulled from a Lincoln Navigator. Turn the ignition and the 5. 2l V8 roars to life, thanks to the custom side-exit exhaust. The LED headlights light the way to the local...

Little red truck

The little red express was only produced in 1978 and 1979, the 79 Little Red Express had only 5,118 produced. This particular truck still had a nice red pain job, with black vinyl interior, and quality woodgrain trim. Little Red has a 318 engine in it with a 904 Torque Flight Transmission. The engine / transmission swap put the vehicles miles at about 14,000. It is equipped with an AM/FM radio. It has power steering as well as power brakes.
