Gateway Classic Cars exceeded my expectations throughout the process of marketing and selling my vehicle. This was a first experience working with them and I did my homework before making contact. I chose this venue as it allowed me to set a reserve that I could live with and after contacting previous venues that had changed their reserve policies it was worth the move. I never looked back after delivery and having a indoor and open 6 day a week secure showroom is hard to beat. The San Antonio-Austin showroom team is on their game and communication was excellent. I see a few reviews here of people complaining that things were wrong with their car. All cars are on consignment and so do not belong to this dealership, so they can't work on them. The condition of the vehicle is the BUYER'S responsibility. First, it's a used car. And it's very old. Very likely, there are going to be flaws. Just expect it. And if you're really concerned that any potential problems might be too big, then bring your mechanic. Do your due diligence, keep your expectations realistic and you'll love this place!

I would like to thank Gateway Classic Cars and their team at the Indianapolis showroom for making the whole process of purchasing our 1932 Chevy Confederate Sedan fun and exciting. Since I was a little boy playing with my hot wheels, I always dreamed about having a hot rod of my very own. When my wife and I were first dating we had also talked about one day have a car that we could enjoy with our family and friends. I would often go on the Internet and search for the ideal classic car. I found a few cars that were interesting, but nothing really stood out as the perfect car for us. After years of looking, we finally found the perfect car at Gateway Classic Cars. The next morning I called Gateway and spoke with a sales rep by the name of Bobby Huber. Since my wife and I were new to the whole process, I had plenty of questions. Bobby gave me a back round on Gateway Classic Cars and answered all my questions. My conversation with Bobby made me feel confident that I was working with the right people. Bobby was able to finalize the sale with me and even helped me find a reputable shipping company to deliver my 1932 Chevy to my door. My wife and I couldn't wait to see the car so we drove over 700 miles to see the car and meet the team. When we arrived at the Indianapolis Showroom they were ready and waiting for us. My wife could not stop taking pictures. The selection of cars there made my wife and I feel like we were at a car show. In the past month, we purchased two brand new 2013 cars. My wife had made a comment to me that buying the 32 Chevy was easier than the other two cars. The process could not have gone smoother. Once again, I would like to thank Gateway Classic Cars for letting that little 8 year old boy so many years ago know that sometimes dreams do come true.

We attended a 30th wedding anniversary on Saturday last week. Amazing makes you want to buy a old school vehicle. Rent it, make sure you check with management to see what you csn do. There are some rules to the rental.

My hubby and I are both gearheads. We were looking for a place to get married and when we found out this place has an event space we couldn’t pass this opportunity up. The staff was extremely helpful, you are given the WHOLE day to decorate, they assist throughout the event and you can select a car to be placed within your space for guess to take pics. The cars made a perfect backdrop and didn’t need anything more. To sum everything up the whole experience was freekin awesome! Thank you Allie and staff for your hospitality ????.

I flew to Atlanta to look at a 1966 Ford Mustang. I called and talked to Brent to set up a time to help me with looking at it. He walked me through the car, went with me on a test drive, and was very friendly/responsive. Even though we did not make a deal because of mechanical problems with the car, I still enjoyed my experience with him and regret that I could not purchase through him. I highly recommend using Brent if interested in a car at Gateway Classics Atlanta.

I was very happy with the way Gateway handled sale of my prototype car. Bobby McQuire accurately explained Gateway’s mode of operation to me. Duke Montross did a good job of guiding me to a realistic sales price. Gateway’s contractor did a good job of detailing the car and at a fair price. Gateway’s photographer did a great job - the photo’s and video of the car posted on line were great. Gateway’s writer took material I provided and prepared a great sales write-up - Amazed at the worldwide advertising Gateway did and the interest potential buyers showed. Brandon Madsen actually sold the car. Tyler Christman handled the paperwork. Gateway was careful to control the car until money available, and wrote me a check as soon as I delivered the original title. Everything was done very professionally and a promised.

I was very impressed with the salesman John's knowledge. He had a satisfactory answer for every question I had, and was able to carry a conversation on every make and mode of car on the showroom floor. My family showed up 15 minutes before close, and I was personally watching my watch to try and wrap up before closing time. When it was past their official closing time, I told John that it was about that time, however, he knew I still had interest in additional vehicles and went the extra mile to show me just about every car that he thought was up my alley. What a pleasant experience. A++ go here they do a great job!

I purchased a vintage truck through Jesse at Gateway Classic Cars. I live out of the country and the vehicle was in their Denver showroom. In addition to Gateway's incredible photo gallery and videos, Jesse went above and beyond to accommodate my mechanic doing a pre-purchase inspection and sending me whatever additional info, videos and pictures I requested. Additionally Jesse was beyond helpful with the logistics around purchase, shipping, temp tags, etc.

Loved the St Louis location and this one's just as great with alot of classics and some very unique new ones and it's a dealer so you don't pay to get in but don't touch the cars out of respect for the dealer and the owners selling their cars cus it's like walking through a lambo or Ferrari dealer but they do give out posters so that's a plus for your kids if you bring the family

Nice collection of vintage autos, some hard to find in like new condition. Nice lobby with a coloring station for the little guys.they colored mustangs,barracudas, ratfink style car toons. The refreshments were a nice treat toys for tots toy drive was a Merry Christmas treat for my 5 grand children. They were more than happy to give for such a worthy cause. ????Toys for Tots. ????Merry Christmas Gateway Classic Cars. 2023. My fav. Car was the Ford Galaxy Convertable I think it was '67 or '68? I recently needed help with getting a vehicle inspected and transported from Georgia to Oklahoma.
I called Gateway and talked to David who was a great help with just the right information I needed. It took a couple of weeks for me to be satisfied I was buying the right vehicle. I bought a 1958 Jeep Willys from Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio. Right from the get go I knew I was in the right place. I first spoke with Duke Montross on the phone, he was very accommodating. He gave me all the information, so I headed over to their shop to check it out. Their facility was spotless and the entire team was helpful and engaging. They have a fantastic show room you should all check out!!
Duke took me from soup to nuts in a very timely manner and arranged all the details for the Jeep to be shipped to me in Scottsdale Az.
I'm in the restaurant business where service, quality and cleanliness are super important. Duke and the Gateway team fired on all cylinders!!!

I absolutely love this location and the crew running the site. Not only do you get an amazing collection of cars to enjoy, they connect you to so many buyers. My Cobra has just been dropped off and I can already see lots of views. The team was nice, approachable and upfront. Best part, they don't charge you, just take off the top of selling price. You Set your price and they make sure you get it.

They have about 100 cars and trucks of all types and years parked in a warehouse in an industrial park, so when you get near you may think the address is wrong but just look carefully at the signs.

Good honest company

I purchased a car online site unseen and was unsure about the entire transaction over the phone. Duke was great to work with, he never pressured me at all and let me take my time to think about it. He also sent me paperwork on the car detailing what had been done to it as far as restoration.

After purchasing the car and arranging transportation the car would not start. Duke told me they would have the car checked out and they didn't have to do that. I purchased the car as is and it was mine but they took the time to have it looked at and turns out it needed some work.

The seller agreed to cover the costs and it made me feel even better about the outstanding service that I was given.

I would not hesitate to purchase another car from Duke again.

They really know how to go the extra mile.

I am such a connoisseur of the Lincoln Continental Mark III that upon seeing stock #2911 on Gateway Classic's website, I consummated a purchase via wire transfer of funds the very next day (without even waiting for a test drive). I booked a one-way flight there three days later, and admired the car for about 45 minutes in person while Charley prepared my paperwork, and the car, for the long drive from East St. Louis back to Washington, DC., my faith and trust in a car that performed even better than it looks may have surprised some, but not me. I have been on the prowl for a certain Mustang Cobra that my father had owned when I was a youth. I had found it at Gateway Classic while searching online. A quick call to Gateway has landed me with this sentimental piece to my child hood that I will now cherish with my children. David was phenomenal to work with and just a great guy. While handling the financing, and the paperwork necessary Brent was fantastic to work with and made the process very simple. They handled everything including the shipping which showed up a day ahead of time. Purchased a Saturn Sky recently. While I live in Florida and usually use the Orlando facility, I saw the Sky in Nashville. I have dealt with this organization for over 15 years as both a buyer and a seller and have never been disappointed doing either. I recently dropped off my 1989 Jeep Wrangler with Chris. Since the time we first spoke on the phone I knew he was a stand up guy. He talked me into bringing the Jeep into the showroom and posting it for sale as I'm a busy man and I don't have time for answering the same questions over and over again on one of these marketplace sites. I attended a wedding and reception at Gateway Classic Cars. It was nice, the decorations were beautiful, the food was good, and everyone was dressed to the nines. We were surrounded by hot muscle cars and fancy classic cars, some reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and professional. I never thought to have a wedding or reception at essentially a car dealership but it worked well. A very creative venue.

They get some of the nicest hotrods around. We bought a Mustang from them a few years back and were very satisfied with the transaction.

This place is legit and top notch. Have not even sold my car yet and I’m glad I went this direction. Very straight forward communication. From good hard working men. I personally dealt with Josh and Brandon and they were very professional and easy to deal with. Give this a chance if you have a old car you want to sell.

I’ve been searching for a pristine C3 Corvette for quite some time. I found one on the website at Gateway Nashville and after inquiry, Bob Pierce called me and walked me through the buying process and negotiation. It was a great experience and he even arranged to have the Vette transported 450 miles to my home!! But it doesn’t stop there, as Cody Jones jumped in to help with the follow up/ paperwork. Service after the sale…. I was missing a door key and Cody followed up with the previous owner and found another set that included the door key. GreatJob… happy customer.

I would like to take a moment of your collective time to share with the all of you an unbelievable experience that your Business Development Manager in Houston, Texas created from my 5 year old Grandson, Grayson Smith and myself on August 10 while visiting your place of business.

Earlier in the day, my wife, daughter and two other grandsons (2 and 3 weeks) headed out for breakfast to celebrate Grayson’s 5th birthday. As a warmup present he received from my wife, Lee and myself, subscriptions and samples to Streetrodder and Classic Truck magazines. With that he asked, “Pop can we go look at some hotrods somewhere today?” Coincidentally I had seen your cars and coffee event on the local street calendar, made a call to your Houston office and inquired about coming out for a look. We were welcomed to come out.

Upon our arrival, Mr. James Stanley greeted us and welcomed Grayson and myself to take our time and look around. James asked Grayson about his interest and likes in hotrods and Grayson responded that he was there to look for a birthday outing. Mr. Stanley took it upon himself to essentially construct a “birthday bag” for Grayson full of classic car magazines, keychains, suckers, flashlights and decals. Needless to say Grayson and I both were thrilled, so much so, we borrowed a space in the middle of your showroom, sat down and went through each piece together. I have to tell you the magazines are most likely his favorites. Over the next 2 hours or so, we moved quickly from one car to the next and often back to a car visited earlier. Grayson knows his cars and was spot on with most until we got to the Volkswagens, about which he commented “Pop what is that?”. Clearly he was having fun.

We wound down the visit with the conclusion that Grayson should have a Dodge Charger for college and red would be his color choice.

Please understand we are not new to this. Today Grayson tinkers with me on my 34 Ford and now on my 52 Chieftain. I decided when he was born that he should have the opportunity to understand a bygone era and participate in the same if so inclined.

The amount of attention bestowed on us by Mr. Stanley and the greetings from others in your Houston operation is beyond welcoming and impressive. You have a tremendous individual in Mr. Stanley as part of your organization and I wanted to make sure that I both thank him and you all are made aware of his personable efforts.

As mentioned, I have a couple of classics but my next purchase and/or sale consultation will be through your organization. Based on our recent experience with Gateway there would be no reason to do otherwise.

My sincerest thanks to Mr. Stanley for making Grayson’s 5th birthday a hit. We read those magazines together constantly and talk about them when visiting by phone.

If you have a hankering to see some of Americas best vintage cars, INSIDE, take a spin up to Memphis, Indiana. I didn’t know it existed, but was amazed to be able to look at cars up close, inside a building, and not have to walk miles in blazing summer heat when the classic car show returns to Louisville. These aren’t regular cars, so nothing here is bargain priced! You can’t touch anything, so I don’t recommend kids, but you can DREAM, and reminisce, ask questions and be comfortable. These are the real cars from our bygone days, and they are just magnificent. If you’re looking to buy, give it a try. Your dream car could be waiting for you…

I recently purchased a 1969 Corvette from Gateway Classic Cars and I am really pleased with my purchase. At the time I went to drive it home to Oklahoma and I had a small problem and after a call to Sal Akbani it was taken care of promptly. I would recommend to anyone I know who is looking to purchase a classic car to check out your choices first as you have a nice collection to choose from. I was treated fairly and am quite pleased with your prices and with the prompt way my problem was resolved.

I've been looking for a square body K10 for quite a while. I found a 1983 model at GCC in Atlanta that appeared to be exactly what I was looking for. I bought the truck sight unseen. Brent did a great job of describing the truck perfectly and being my 'eyes on the ground' since I was six hours away and couldn't find the time to get down to see it for myself. He answered all my questions, even the ones that might seem petty but meant a lot to me given I couldn't see it in person. The transaction was smooth and the truck was in my driveway two days later. I'll definitely call him again for my next purchase.

This was my first visit to Gateway, and I had a great time! We were here for their Holiday Party and the price of admission was one unwrapped toy for a toy drive. This place is quite large and has all kinds of different cars and trucks. Don't let the name fool you, they do have modern cars for sale as well. We spent a good amount of time walking up and down the rows of cars and trucks looking at everyone. We did not buy anything, but there are price points for everyone. The showroom is located in a warehouse district, so don't expect to see your "typical" dealership when you arrive. It's easy to find, though, and there's ample parking. Stop in and look around...there's a lot of cool cars and trucks to see!

Visited twice this week and was impressed with the greeting by staff and further impressed with the inventory. I’m particularly interested in the ‘65 Corvair Corsa.

This is a wonderful place to visit. It's a museum and also a place where you can purchase anyone of those vehicles on display.

I used Gateway to sell a classic car when I originally stopped in to see what they were about they gave me all the information that I needed to feel comfortable having them sell my classic. two months later when I was ready I called and made an appointment they had all of my paperwork ready,I left the car for them to do their inspection the next day they let me know that the car met their standards and they asked how much I wanted. I asked them if they had a person that details cars that came to their site. I had them detail the car I paid them directly they did a great job at a reasonable price. my only complaint with gateway in Crete is they don't sell new cars. the last 2 new cars that I have bought the salespersons was terrible!! the experience at Gateway was GREAT i'm passing them on to a friend has needs to sell car. once the car sold they called to see when I could come by to trade the title for a check they had all of my paperwork and the check ready. they acted like they had done this before. IT"S THE WAS CAR SELLING SHOULD BE!! stop in for one of their chrome and caffeine events and check out the inventory many cool cars something for every taste. the hardest part of the process was deciding on what to tell them for a price. I worked with many of the people there they work as a team not like they are afraid someone is going to steal their customer

I had been looking for a 2004 Mercury Marauder with low miles for some time. My search lead me to Gateway Classics of San Antonio-Austin, TX. They had one with 26,000 miles on it and in a rare color.

I called and Duke answered the phone. He was great to do business with. Duke and his staff were very professional and a breeze to work with. We were able to cut a deal. I flew out to San Antonio to see the car. It was super clean and in great condition. Just as they represented it. So much so I loaded it up and drove it 1,500 miles home.

The show room was super clean. Not to mention being filled with great cars and trucks. Next time you are near a showroom and you like cars, stop in and check it out. You will enjoy it.

This place was excellent. Like a grown up toys r us. They have a LARGE inventory of classics as well as a few newer customs. Staff was very friendly and even hooked my son up with a couple free car posters for his dorm room. If you weren't looking for it you'd never find this place. They're in the back of an industrial park. Just use your GPS. Well worth the trip if you're in the market for a classic or just wanna look around as it's like a museum for classic cars.

I reached out to GCC after seeing a vehicle I was interested in online. I spoke with Damon who helped me from start to finish with the purchase of my new car. Hello from Australia - I just bought my first car through Gateway in Dallas and it's being shipped down under at this moment. Excellent experience - the process of paying for the car was a bit challenging but was worked out by the dealership. I have NEVER bought a car site unseen, but felt good about buying the car and hopefully when seeing the car in a couple months my feelings won't change. I just wanted to thank Gateway Classic Cars for your work on selling our 1977 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.

I realized some of the benefits of putting it on consignment with Gateway when we first came to meet with you and saw your showroom and met the staff. However, not until after we consigned the automobile with you and not only did you help us in what it needed to make it more appealing to that limited market of who would be looking at buying an older Rolls, but you really were great in taking care of us through out the 'process' did I realize ALL of the benefits of having it in Gateway's hands.

With the economy what it is today, and the thought of trying to sell something like this on our own, well, I wouldn't want to think about what could have happened with people that are less than honorable looking to take advantage of others that maybe too trusting or just naive to what could happen in going thru the process. We didn't have to worry about if we could trust the person interested in buying it, especially if it would have limited us to the market right here in our area only.

And even then, I would have had to trust that they could drive an automobile that was right side drive without doing any damage during the 'interested' stage. But, then to think about if we had to trust someone thousands of miles away that would be offering to buy it and trying to make the arrangements on transporting it to them and hoping that their payment for the automobile was good.

Again, in today's world, unfortunately, there are less than scrupulous people that would have taken full advantage of us and in consigning the automobile with Gateway, we never had to worry about any of the obvious things that could possibly happen but those things alot of people may not realize could take place.

So, again, I want to thank you for taking not only the time and patience to work with us on selling what I termed 'the old girl'..but making it a process that was very trusting and enjoyable.

We know that in today's market and having a very specialized item, it was not going to be an easy or fast sale. However, I would recommend that anyone thinking about consigning their automobile instead of selling it on their own, contact Gateway Classic Cars.

I used Gateway to sell a classic car when I originally stopped in to see what they were about they gave me all the information that I needed to feel comfortable having them sell my classic. two months later when I was ready I called and made an appointment they had all of my paperwork ready,I left the car for them to do their inspection the next day they let me know that the car met their standards and they asked how much I wanted. I asked them if they had a person that details cars that came to their site. I had them detail the car I paid them directly they did a great job at a reasonable price. my only complaint with gateway in Crete is they don't sell new cars. the last 2 new cars that I have bought the salespersons was terrible!! the experience at Gateway was GREAT i'm passing them on to a friend has needs to sell car. once the car sold they called to see when I could come by to trade the title for a check they had all of my paperwork and the check ready. they acted like they had done this before. IT"S THE WAS CAR SELLING SHOULD BE!! stop in for one of their chrome and caffeine events and check out the inventory many cool cars something for every taste. the hardest part of the process was deciding on what to tell them for a price. I worked with many of the people there they work as a team not like they are afraid someone is going to steal their customer

From the first call to the dealership and through the dozens of emails and texts before deciding to purchase my new to me 1990 Corvette ZR1, I knew that I was dealing with a company that understood customer service and took it to the next level! Scott Yockstick, one of the salesmen their was a pleasure to deal with! He answered and addressed every question and made sure I understood the whole purchase process and procedures. He also helped me with my offer to the seller, and got back to me with the good news that the owner accepted my offer within minutes and I couldn’t have asked for a better salesperson. He sent me 8 quotes for transporting the ZR1 from Denver to Massachusetts and also helped me with the financing and the insurance needed for a classic car and all went very smoothly! Scott stayed late waiting for the transportation folks when he could have said, ‘tomorrow’s another day”. He had the car ready for them to pick up the car the next day, his day off, and had another coworker send me pictures of the car going onto the flatbed truck. I can’t say enough about Gateway Classic Cars, and especially Scott Yockstick for his help in making my ZR1 ownership dream become a reality! I have been very satisfied for that car, Mercury Marquis. Last week we had a Hot Wheels Show here in Finland and we got the 1st prize in Classic Car serie. The car is GREAT!!!! The car is 100% original like Sal said! I dont used an appraiser or inspector because I had a lot of pictures about this car and that was enough for me. The service was great. Beautiful place great atmosphere and entertainment

I bought a 1972 Karmann Ghia convertible from Bill Nelson of Gateway. The car was reasonably priced for that model. The car shipped immediately and arrived a day later. I was very pleased to learn that the vehicle had been fully restored. Indeed, the original gas cap and rubber seal from 1972 is still in place, as is the original VW jack and spare tire, which is hooked up to the windshield washer reservoir, just like it was in 1972. The original manual was in the glove box. The car has a working stereo which sounds great! I don't care for the color, but the paint is new so I am loath to repaint it. The convertible top is new. Inside the bonnet was a cloth boot cover for the convertible top, a $300 value. All-in-all, it was worth more than a I paid.

That is a great group of guys, down to the last man. They really take care of their customers. Duke and Brandon were an absolute pleasure to work with while buying my S10 Blazer.

I live in Wisconsin and the next time I’m ready to buy another awesome ‘60s Street Machine I’m giving Kevin Morse a call! Real authentic guy and this is the best car I’ve ever gotten. I got an R-Spec Gen Coupe 3.8 and been having fun with that, but ever since I picked up the GTO/Holden Monaro Conversion my dreams have literally came to me in the twist of a key! haha, 10 out of 10 highly recommended. He beat out all other options that I were looking at when it comes to this specific car and Classic Gateway Cars is a great, lucrative, and diverse business. I visited Gateway Classic Cars as part of a car club outing. They asked us to display our cars, hosted a lunch for the participants and made a donation to the club. We were able to tour the showroom which has a large number of vehicles for sale. If you are a car person, sports, muscle or classic you may find your interest on display. They even have some little unknown names.
I do not have any experience in dealing with and cannot comment on their buy/sell business. However, this is a great place to browse and experience a variety of vehicles.

I am not in the market for a car at the present time but I look at your website every day. It is unquestionably the best automotive site on the internet. It is just plain fun for a car person to look at. The quality of the cars you present seems to be at the top of the ladder. The photography and commentary are unequaled. Someone is to be congratulated on doing a superb job of presentation. There is no way this site could be improved.

Just received my 71 Camero after an enclosed transport from Colorado to Idaho. The buying process is made free of any issues and the price was fair. I dealt with Scott who was very responsive with all forms of communication and always let me know what to expect as the sale progressed, as well as shipping. Pictures of vehicle being loaded and progress as delivery was near. I would highly recommend Gateway as you search for your classic.
