1925 Chevrolet Superior

View Description

20s and 30s hotrods are a dime a dozen but this 1925 Chevy definitely stands out from the rest. There isn't much left on the car from 1925 except the original steel panels. The entire drivetrain has been removed and replaced with upgraded parts including a 305ci small block Chevy engine, a 700R4 transmission, and a 10 bolt rear end with a Powertrax no slip posi. Under the front end are QA1 shock absorbers to help keep this car planted to the ground and give it that mean stance. Open the double doors and check out the custom formed ABS plastic interior wrapped in tan and red leather. The power seats are also wrapped in the same soft and comfortable leather....

1925 Chevrolet Superior

View Description

In 1925 The Chevrolet Motor Division was started in 1911 and merged into General Motors in 1917. By 1925 when this beauty was built they were in direct competition with Fords Model T and eventually surpassed the -T- as the number one selling car in the United States. To compete with Fords marketing slogans Chevrolet introduced -A car for every purse and purpose- and that is what they delivered. A few items that set them apart from the Model T of 1925 are the driver friendly 3 speed floor shift gearbox, crank controlled front windshield, vacuum powered windshield wiper and an accelerator pedal. This configuration of a floor shift with clutch pedal was so popular it is still used today in modern cars. Options on this car include a wooden and chrome plated steering wheel, custom leatherette upholstery, electric dome light, electric dash light, carpeted floor, wood spoke wheels, beveled rearview mirror with clock, wide whitewall tires and custom wood accelerator pedal.

There is a very high quality find at this very accessible price-range. You would be hard pressed to find another with this condition and that runs this smooth for under $15,000. The royal blue metallic exterior looks like it was painted within the last 10 years. It still in good condition, but you might notice a chip or two around some of the connecting points. The black fenders are also in good condition and there isn't any corrosive rust anywhere to be found. The leather interior does not have any tears or stains and still enjoys lots of soft cushioning.
