The Shifty business is done by a 4L60E 4 Speed Automatic Transmission with a Trans cooler. The Rear custom 4 Link with Cross bar, Chrome Coil Over shocks holding up a 9' Ford with custom housing turning 3:90 Posi gears. The Front end is Heidts Tubular upper and lower control Arms. Power Rack and Pinion, with Chrome Coil over shocks. There is Power Steering, with 4 Wheel Disc Brakes, a Drive Shaft Loop, Aluminum Radiator, Vintage A/ C, Power Windows. This 1940 Ford Business Coupe with a trailer loaded with all the goodies. The all original unmodified steel body 1940 Ford is painted in a beautiful shade of PPG Guards Red that compliments the tan leather interior. Riding on polished American Racing Torque Thrust wheels that give it a great stance, especially with the wider rear wheels. Stepping inside this well built street rod, you first notice the attention to detail. Beautiful leather 6 way power seats from an '85 Thunderbird, a leather wrapped LeCarra steering wheel attached to a tilt steering column. This -40 Ford is boasting all Henry Ford steel body and fenders along with a complete modern Ford drivetrain. Artfully packaged and nestled in a louvered engine compartment is the car-s fuel injected 5. 0L Ford small block. It-s fitted with a Kenne Bell supercharger, tube headers, and a serpentine belt drive system. To make for a clean appearance it has been finished with plenty of chrome and polished aluminum. Backed by a Ford overdrive transmission and a 9-inch rear end, the drivetrain is mounted in a smoothed and welded frame that includes 4-wheel disc brakes.
