The 46 Mercury was like many of the American cars that year, a 42 Model that was brought back into production late 45 for the 46-model year. The smooth lines were widely accepted but it was still considered to be a -fancy- Ford. This Streetrodded 46 Merc is a far-cry from what it originally was. The first thing that catches your eye is the high-end glass like paint job. The ghosted in flames are done with a surgeon-s precision giving this classic a one-off look. Under the hood the engine bay has been taken to the next level with the firewall smoothed and painted to match it is as clean as I have seen. The small block Chevy sits nestled right between the rails. With all the accessories chromed out this is a clean car from front to back. Hit the button for the remote popper and have a seat in the high-end leather bucket seats. The Mercury emblem has been done in red snakeskin to bring the outside in giving it a unique look.
