Powering this bowtie muscle is a monster 502 cubic inch big block V8 engine. With over 500 horsepower on tap naturally aspirated, most would think that this would be enough. But, not for this powerful play toy! Sitting atop this monster rat motor is a 6-71 Weiand supercharger. With twin Edelbrock carbs, this bad boy is just begging to be driven. Estimated at over 750 horsepower, this supercharge is underdriven, just one pulley swap and tune away from asking to be brought over the 1,000 horsepower marker! Backing the boosted 502 CID GM crate engine is a hefty TH400 automatic transmission with reverse manual valve body and B&M ratchet shifter, which makes this car simply a blast to drive! The power is then thrown to the pavement thanks to a set of fat and sticky meats wrapped around deep dish Centerline racing wheels attached to a 4. 11 geared posi 12-bolt rear end! This very nice custom Coupe has a very dark secret- In that someone put a 6. 2L LS3 corvette engine in it- LS swaps are becoming the new normal in classic cars for many reasons but mostly because the reliability and performance of the LS series engines are second to none. The LS motor in this car has been through a very recent rebuild with less than 800 miles logged onto it since. The engine & 5-speed manual transmission was professionally installed the correct way with all accessories in the right places.

The car is shown in a very nice & clean slate grey PPG base/clear paint finish that shows very well with no dings or dents to be found. The chrome trim & bumpers are in like new condition as well as the grills & glass. The car went through a full restoration and rebuild from 2009-2011 and has been kept indoors since never meeting a drop of rain. The paint finish is of high quality and very well done.

This deep red 47 Ford is a stunning example of one of these fat fender cars from the 40's. Believe it or not the gentleman decided to keep it original. The old and reliable flathead is still under the hood. With a total of 239 CI The new Holley 4 Barrel feeds this flathead with Offenhauser heads the fuel it needs with out breaking a sweat. The electric system in the car ahs been upgraded to a 12-volt system with the proper upgraded alternator as well. The fender skirts look good on this super deluxe with the steel wheels being complimented by dog dish hubcaps with Ford painted to match.
