1947 Plymouth Deluxe

View Description

In 1947 America was still glowing over its victory in world war 2. The Factory-s were almost back to full production and people had money. The 47 Plymouths symbolized all of this with there sleek fat fender designs and incredible dash with the elegant gauges. This 47 has kept all the features but with modern touches that give it a very custom look. Outside the Copper paint looks great and not something you would find on stock 47. The custom wheels help to compliment the modern touches. Under the hood is not something you would have seen in 1947. The 440 CID big block is all Mopar and something not found in most street rods. With that big block upfront power steering was added to make turning this beast a lot easier. The 727 torq flite transmission is exactly what that big block needs. Drop it down into drive and let transmission due all the work. The shift from 1st to 2nd...

1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe

View Description

This car truly is a blast from the past, yet rides smoother than most modern cars! Under the hood is a 218 cubic-inch V6 that is mated to a -3 on the tree-, or 3-speed column shifted manual transmission. While this coupe shows 49,861 original miles, the engine was professionally rebuilt just over 500 miles ago, and with each effortless start the fresh rebuild shows.

This car is said to have all its original steel panels, and approximately 17 years ago it was given the gorgeous Marine Blue paint job which, since, has been incredibly maintained. The paint truly does look like it was just sprayed last week, and the Gray Pinstripe interior is a near perfect complement to the exterior. With the addition of the outside sun visor over the front windshield and the hood ornament light, all occupants in the front seat are sure to have a great view when driving down the road....
